MIRIAM'S KITCHEN

The Richard E. and Nancy P. Marriott Foundation and Miriam’s Kitchen have been partners since 2007. Grants have supported general operations of the organization, helping to meet their critical mission of honoring their guests’ dignity, giving them a sense of belonging, and guiding them towards creating change in their lives.

Miriam’s Kitchen is committed to ending chronic homelessness in D.C. by establishing meaningful relationships with chronically homeless individuals, connecting them with permanent supportive housing, and ensuring they have the necessary support to remain in housing. Miriam’s Kitchen is an advocate for permanent supportive housing as a long-term solution, while meeting short-term needs such as providing healthy meals and high-quality social services to more than 4,300 homeless individuals each year. Miriam’s Kitchen is also dedicated to ending veteran homelessness in D.C. by providing all the necessary resources to give them a place to call home.
